On the fourth day of Be A Good Cookie Week, my tenacious-marathoner-fashionista-raven-friend Kat gave to me us…Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Kat & I share many affinities, but perhaps one of my favorite commonalities is a love of Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. Girlfriend made a vow to herself in her 25 in 25 that she would make oatmeal chocolate chippers anytime that the urge struck. Of course, I am a big fan of giving in to urges that involve butter, sugar, and chocolate, so I wholeheartedly endorse her resolution.
So when we started plotting our next group effort by perusing the Cookies For Kids’ Cancer cookbook, and I read that these Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies were the ones that started it all, we knew that Kat was meant to make them. Kismet is real, Friends.
Head on over to see Kat at Tenaciously Yours, and watch her give in to a craving. And then be sure to follow her lead and bake a batch of these Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies for yourself.
Remember: you have until Saturday December 17 at 5:00 p.m. to enter my Be A Good Cookie Giveaway and help CFKC and win an autographed copy of the Cookies For Kids’ Cancer cookbook, the OXO Good Grips Be A Good Cookie spatula, and other great cookie swag. Tell your friends.
By the way–don’t forget to enter NanaBread’s giveaway for another chance to win a great prize package with all of the same stuff, plus a whole lot more!
Up tomorrow: Mads from La Petite Pancake whips up a little sugary love to cap off her finals week. Intrigued? I sure hope so!
