    MMMMM! Looks delish :) I’m vegan, so I hope you don’t mind if I make some changes to the recipe with egg substitute and almond milk vs cows milk…and vegan butter…If it doesn’t work out, I’ll break the rules for the day and borrow some dairy from my neighbor :)

    Did the snow pile up on you the other day? Saw some facebook posts about all the snow….kind of jealous!

      I don’t mind a bit, Christie! Do what you’ve gotta do–just let me know how it goes. I bet the almond milk would be tasty. No snow yet, here–only a ton of rain. I think we are going to have to do special snow dance tonight, just to get things rolling. Hoping having A Christmas Story on virtually non-stop will help our efforts. 😉

    Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. Because I didn’t have on hand cornmeal I used 4 cups of whole wheat flour. The waffles turned out so perfect! crispy outside and soft inside. My family loved them and so did I. Thanks again!!
