Magic ice cream cake is a delicious dessert combination of chocolate cake layered with vanilla ice cream, with a Magic Shell coating.
Hello! Welcome to the fabulous third day of Cake Week! I hope that you’re having as much fun as I am with all the great cake love going on around here. Have you seen some of the cakes linked up to the Cake Week Link Party? You really should check them out–lots of cool stuff!
My Twitter friends and I have been so inspired by all the cakeness that we’ve been rippin’ off sampling some great (?) Cake Week Tribute versions of old Rap songs and posting them for all the world us to enjoy.
“I like big CAKES and I can not lie…” or
“Icing, icing Baby…”
Because no one Raps better than a bunch of sugar-hopped food bloggers. No. One.
Things get a little odd on Twitter at times. It’s like all of your my our stream-of-conscious thoughts all come out in 140 characters or less. So what happens with 6 slightly over-caffeinated, food enthusiasts start brainstorming crazy cake-like ideas on Twitter?
This happens. One minute we were blabbing about ice cream cakes and the wonder that is Magic Shell.
The next minute Jeanne @ Inside NanaBread’s Head emailed photos of this magic ice cream cake, with a tag-line to the effect of Read it and Weep, Ladies!
And weep we did. Just look at this magic ice cream cake! Chocolate cake layered with vanilla ice cream, and coated in Magic Shell. Magic Shell! It really doesn’t get much cooler than that.
Sorry, but I had to go there. 😉
Well?! What are you waiting for? Head on over to Inside NanaBread’s Head and see how Jeanne made this Ice Cream Cake Awesomeness.
Oh, and if you’re into ice cream cake (and really, who isn’t?), be sure to check out this recipe, too:
