Welcome to the second day of Be A Good Cookie Week! Hooray for an entire week full of awesome cookie posts!
Today’s post has me very excited because it’s a variation on a cookie that I have recently learned to love–shortbread. Man, do these cookies look incredible! I know that these particular cookies have got to be good, for two very good reasons:
- My friend Jeanne (NanaBread) knows her way around a cookie, so I have full confidence in her ability to churn out fabulous treats. Obviously.
- This recipe is from the Cookies For Kids’ Cancer: Best Bake Sale Cookbook, and those folks at CFKC know cookies–and bake sales–so they wouldn’t call it the best if it weren’t true.
Oh. My. I can already see that Jeanne was gettin’ busy and adding her own spin on an already great recipe. Jeanne also has a great cookie related giveaway to benefit Cookies For Kids’ Cancer, as well. We’ve banded together to bring you not one, but two Be A Good Cookie Week Giveaways!! Which just gives you another easy way for you to help raise funds for pediatric cancer research, with just a click of your mouse. How cool is that?!
Click on over to Inside NanaBread’s Head to see what kind of chocolatey mischief Jeanne got into with her Toasted Coconut Shortbread cookies. And be sure to enter her giveaway while you are over there visiting!
Remember: you have until Saturday December 17 at 5:00 p.m. to enter my Be A Good Cookie Giveaway and help CFKC and win an autographed copy of the Cookies For Kids’ Cancer cookbook, the OXO Good Grips Be A Good Cookie spatula, and other great cookie swag. Tell your friends.
Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see what kind of cookie craziness Megan created in her kitchen.
