Cookie Week 2012 to benefit Cookies for Kids Cancer is over and done with for the year. Every cookie that we baked and exchanged will earn $1 thanks to the generosity of Glad to Give. When we started the Cookie Week Exchange last year, I was overwhelmed at the total number of cookies exchanged for the cause.

The widespread support from across the country was amazing. This year, more and more of you emailed with your cookie exchange totals, and for that I’m truly grateful. I’m thrilled to report that this year, we’ve surpassed our 2011 total! I just might explode with excitement!
But before I announce our total, I can’t very well host a Cookie Week without posting a recap of all of the great cookies shared last week, now can I? Nope. I wouldn’t do that to you, Friends. So in no particular order, here are all of the great cookies of Cookie Week 2012.
Hey! I think there’s a calendar idea in there somewhere…

Thank you all so much for supporting the efforts of a few little blogs that want to make a difference in the lives of children with pediatric cancer. Together we can make a difference, one cookie at a time!

How do I take part in sending a “Cookie” virtually? Would love to take part in any n all Causes to Cure Cancer for everyone around the world!!!!
Wonderful Elaine! You can register with Glad to Give via facebook and send virtual cookies to earn 75 cents each that goes to Cookies for Kids Cancer.. Once they get to 8000 virtual cookies, then each virtual cookie will earn $1 to CFKC. http://www.glad.com/food-storage/mom-made/mom-made-holiday/
